1. Who we are

NomadCoach is the trading name of Bahar Rashidi and provides fitness, strength, movement and performance coaching.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Bahar Rashidi trading as NomadCoach is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

2. Information we collect

When you submit the coaching assessment or contact NomadCoach, you may provide:

• your name and email address;
• your training goals, training history and training access;
• information about injuries, pain, limitations or rehabilitation that you choose to provide;
• other information you include in your enquiry or later correspondence.

Basic technical information may also be processed by the services used to host the website and handle forms, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and security logs.

3. Why we use your information

Personal information is used to respond to enquiries, assess whether coaching may be appropriate, communicate about possible or existing coaching, administer the website and form service, and protect the website and communications from misuse or spam.

For ordinary enquiry information, processing is generally necessary to take steps at your request before a possible coaching relationship and, where relevant, for legitimate interests in operating and securing the website.

4. Health-related information

Information about injuries, pain, rehabilitation or physical limitations may amount to special category health information under UK data protection law.

If you choose to provide this information through the assessment form, NomadCoach relies on your explicit consent to use it to assess and respond to your coaching enquiry. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing nomad.manager@mail.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

5. Who processes your information

The website is hosted using GitHub Pages. Coaching assessment submissions are handled by Formspree. Formspree stores form submissions in the Formspree account and may send submission notifications to the nominated email address.

Information may therefore be processed by service providers that support website hosting, form handling, security and email delivery. Where information is transferred internationally, the relevant provider is responsible for using appropriate transfer safeguards.

6. How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not lead to coaching are normally kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up, and are reviewed for deletion after 12 months.

If you become a coaching client, information needed to administer the coaching relationship may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for service records, safety, accounting, legal obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Information that is no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection to certain processing and data portability. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Information about making a complaint is available at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies and analytics

NomadCoach does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies on this website. If non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies are added later, this notice and the site's consent controls will be updated where required.

9. Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information. The website is served over HTTPS. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated when the website, coaching services or data-processing practices change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
